The Circular Construction HUB (CCH) Alto-Adige South-Tyrol is a reference point for circularity for local construction companies. In its first phase, the CCH will include a series of “circular” services proposed by Eurac Research, and in a second phase, it aims to include a series of local actors who can contribute and enrich the HUB with specific skills, useful in guiding small and medium-sized local enterprises towards a more circular model.

The specificity of the CCH is linked to the presence of research and promotion activities related to innovation and experimentation of building products/systems with a focus on sustainability and circularity. Within this context, Eurac has defined a package of services under the name of “Circular Lab” which includes:

• circularity assessment of product/systems in the laboratory;
• Support in the design of product/systems with a circular and eco-design perspective;
• Training on circularity;
• LCC, LCA and feasibility analysis;
• performance verification of “reused” components.

The HUB Tyrol focuses its services on the areas of energy efficiency and timber construction – in particular on increasing the efficiency of façade systems and quality assurance and the avoidance of residual materials in multi-layer timber construction.

The HUB also focuses its services on digital planning methods with BIM in order to be able to evaluate and optimise these topics in the planning process of buildings and constructions in the best possible way with the requirements of the circular economy.

The HUB Tyrol is endeavouring to work closely with the Energy Agency Tyrol and the Standortagentur Tirol.

The Salzburg HUB is a central point of contact for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the construction sector that want to actively shape the transition to a circular economy.

As part of a cross-border network, the HUB supports companies in the ecological and digital transition, promotes sustainable construction practices and strengthens competitiveness – both regionally and across borders.

By connecting to a strong network in Austria and Italy, the HUB offers practical solutions, tools and expertise to successfully implement innovative business models and circular strategies.

With the FVG Hub, ANCE FVG aims to foster circularity, enhance sustainability practices, and boost innovation within the sector, ultimately making companies more competitive in both regional and cross-border markets.

By leveraging partnerships with research institutions, local authorities, and other stakeholders, the Hub provides services and tools to help SMEs address specific challenges in their shift to more circular business models.

The Veneto HUB is a center dedicated to promoting the circular economy in the construction sector, serving as a reference point for companies, professionals, and institutions interested in sustainable innovation in the building industry.

The Veneto HUB offers a wide range of services aimed at supporting SMEs and key players in the construction value chain in their ecological and digital transition. It is part of a cross-border network of innovation centers, working in synergy with institutions and companies in Italy and Austria.
